WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

SimCorp is experiencing a substantial increase in business globally and to support our growth we are looking for a Senior Testing Consultant. This is a truly global role, based in our Warsaw office. In this key role you will work with all our clients across the world and provide business support and solutions to overcome issues encountered by these clients.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Execute unit and integration tests
  • Monitor, react on and debug failing tests in collaboration with external service provider
  • Follow up on test results and gaps with external service provider
  • Participate in test activities during the lifecycle of the onboarding project (SIT, UAT, ORT)
  • Support testing of updates to Global Standard Solutions (SimCorp One Platform and Managed Business Services solution)
  • Track and report testing progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders along the value chain from Value Stream up to Business Services
  • Design, maintain, and execute test cases and scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage defect lifecycle and reporting using Azure DevOps.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation and execution.
  • Ensure test readiness and quality sign-off in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and coordination activities as part of the delivery process.

  • Knowledge and experience in data mapping activities
  • Knowledge in the Securities/Trade Processing area (e.g., Equities, Bonds, FX, CLS, Deposits, Mutual Funds, CTM, SWIFT, CSDR, Derivatives)
  • Alternatively, SimCorp Dimension knowledge in at least one of the following domains:
    • Trade Processing (Securities or Derivatives)
    • Reconciliation
    • Corporate Actions
    • Fund Administration
  • Strong belief in test driven development
  • Ability to drive transformation, and curiousness to learn about business processes
  • Great collaborative skills, highly motivated colleague who works well with others and is outcome-oriented
  • Strong data analysis skills (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and attention to detail
  • 25 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Tester or Business Consultant within asset management, investment operations, or financial services.
