Position Summary
The Senior Technician shall be responsible for helping to achieve on-going guest/internal customer satisfaction and team goals through the maintenance/operations and upkeep of all assigned facilities within the property,
consistency of electricity supplies, water supplies, proper and continuous working condition of all facilities of the property.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides service to both guests and our internal customers.
- Provides accurate and correct information to guests about hotel/casino/public areas policies, services and amenities.
- Responds to requests from guests and internal customer for assistance and information about the local areas (e.g., directions, places to eat, etc.).
- Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the company by diligently following the preventive maintenance program of the property, including electrical/mechanical/plumbing standards.
- Ensures he fully understands and follows the instructions of designated technician in operating and controlling plant and equipment.
- Performs assigned monitoring and repair works on time to ensure guest/internal customer satisfaction and convenience.
- Responds appropriately to guest requests.
- Communicate guest/internal customer requests to immediate superior or to assigned position responsible immediately.
- Shows flexibility in terms of one's schedule to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel/casino/public areas as directed by the engineering manager or immediate supervisor.
- Performs preventive maintenance of hotel/casino/public areas front and heart of the house areas.
- Abides to company policy on grooming standards.
- Be a team player; help out fellow employees when possible.
- Performs other reasonable duties assigned by his superior from time to time.
Qualifications
Experience
- Preferably with more than two (2) years experience from a 5-star hotel or large commercial building/shopping center in a similar capacity.
- Working knowledge on hotel maintenance operations is an advantage.
Education
- Vocational related course or Degree is preferable but not a requirement.
- License holder in Engineering field is an advantage.
Skills / Competencies
- Average to good English communication skills.
