The Senior Technician is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance of vehicles/equipment in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role also provides technical support and guidance to junior technicians to ensure quality workmanship and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance works based on technical standards and service manuals
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues using diagnostic tools and systematic procedures
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all technical work performed
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failure
- Accomplish job orders, service reports, and other required technical documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations
- Coordinate with service advisors, supervisors, and parts personnel to complete assigned jobs efficiently
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Automotive Technology, Electronics, or a related course
- At least 35 years of experience as a Technician, preferably in an automotive or technical service environment
- NC I and NC II certification (TESDA or equivalent)
- Valid drivers license with the ability to operate service or test vehicles
- Background in high-voltage electrical systems, including safety procedures and basic diagnostics (e.g., EV or hybrid systems)
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills
- Familiar with diagnostic tools, service equipment, and technical manuals
- Able to work with minimal supervision and provide guidance or mentoring to junior technicians
Willing to work on a 6-day work schedule
