Peeriot is growing and we are looking for a Technical Marketing Manager to directly support our Community Success Team in ensuring a robust marketing strategy and execution.

Peeriot GmbH is a German deep-tech startup based in Leipzig with a remote team of over 20 senior experts having a clear mission: We are building sovereign, self-operating IoT and edge systems for Smart Factories and Smart Cities.
We are building an operating system for distributed edge devices. Our solution combines distributed systems, resilience, and industrial-grade reliability. We operate in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment where clarity and structure matter.
The Role: Senior Technical Marketing Manager
As a Senior Technical Marketing Manager in the Philippines, you will own and lead Peeriot's technical marketing end-to-end. This is an individual contributor role with autonomy and cross-functional collaboration with product, development, and community success teams. You'll translate technical capabilities into clear stories, build a consistent brand presence, and run initiatives that attract and engage developersincluding hackathons and community activities.
Your Responsibilities:
There are 5 key areas you will be responsible for:
1.Strategy & Planning
- Create, execute, and continuously improve Peeriot's technical marketing across many channels.
- Define goals, messaging pillars, campaign calendars, and channel playbooks aligned with product and business priorities.
- Establish measurable marketing KPIs and OKRs
2.Content & Technical Storytelling
- Produce and/or drive creation of technical marketing assets: Product narratives, launch posts, feature announcements.
- Create blog posts, tutorials, use cases, solution briefs.
- Create case studies, one-pagers, decks, webinars, and short video scripts.
- Turn technical concepts into messaging that resonates with Rust developers and in the IoT world.
3.Social Media & Community
- Contribute to Peeriot's social media presence: Editorial calendar, daily/weekly cadence, engagement strategy.
- Community interaction and growth loops.
- Build relationships with partners, communities, and influencers in relevant technical ecosystems.
4.Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Plan and run campaigns to drive awareness and adoption (product launches, webinars, newsletters, community pushes).
- Coordinate landing pages, lead capture, email flows, and marketing ops needs.
- Work with sales team (in the future) on enablement materials and narrative consistency.
5.Hackathons & Developer Events
- Plan Peeriot's participation in hackathons and coordinate our own developer initiatives: Themes, prompts, judging criteria, swag/awards concepts (where applicable).
- Event promotion strategy and post-event follow-ups.
- Create resources that make participants successful (starter kits, docs, demo repos, tutorials).
- Ensure Peeriot is well represented in technical community contexts.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years in marketing in the IT space, ideally in software tools / developer tools.
- Solid technical fluency: ability to understand technical concepts at a practical level.
- Ability to write and communicate to technical audiences (developers, IoT, IT, security, etc).
- Proven experience owning marketing strategy and execution.
- Success growing a brand and/or community via content and social channels.
- Experience leading or supporting hackathons, meetups, webinars, or community programs.
- Basic familiarity with marketing analytics.
- Availability to work during European time zone (8AM to 5PM GMT + 1)
- Living in Philippines, remote working environment, open for business travels
