The Senior Technical Manager will lead and oversee MEC's technical strategy, solution design, project delivery, and post-sales technical support across multiple product portfolios. This role requires a strong technical background in ICT solutions, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and key clients.
*Mandarin proficiency is required to manage communication with regional partners, principals, and clients from Greater China.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the overall technical strategy and direction of MEC's solutions.
- Oversee solution design, technical presentations, and pre-sales support.
- Manage and mentor engineering and technical teams.
- Ensure successful delivery and quality of complex ICT projects.
- Set project timelines, manage risks, and coordinate cross-functional resources.
- Serve as the main technical liaison with Mandarin-speaking vendors and principals.
- Facilitate technical trainings, certifications, and partner enablement sessions.
- Provide high-level technical consultation to key enterprise clients.
- Resolve escalated technical issues and ensure post-sales service quality.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and align them with business goals.
Job qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 710 years of experience in ICT technical roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
- Experience handling enterprise networks, cybersecurity solutions, cloud technologies, or systems integration.
Technical skills:
- Strong background in:
- Network infrastructure (routing, switching, wireless)
- Network security and cybersecurity frameworks
- Cloud and virtualization platforms
- Data center and server technologies
- Solution architecture and system design
- Relevant industry certifications are an advantage (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, HCIA-HCIA/HCIE, NSE, VCP).
Language requirement:
- Must be proficient in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to Mandarin-speaking vendors and clients is essential.
