Reporting to the KTP Account Manager, the Technical Engineer is responsible of implementing KTP Suite projects for different type of clients. The first mission will be to support clients and internal projects within consulting, training, and Operational support. The KTP Technical Engineer will support existing clients, as well as software applications for new clients. The KTP Technical Engineer follows project standards within established timeframes and at defined quality levels, and ensures projects are completed according to schedule and client specifications. This position is client-facing and requires travel to the client site as the project warrants. Work performed is typically moderately complex.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

Your deliverables as a KTP Technical Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Interact with clients, consultatively, to determine project requirements and needs analysis.
  • Establish and/or assist client with configuring system parameters and controls based on client's business practices and processes; recommend best practices; review setup with clients and gain client acceptance.
  • Provide on-site or remote support during client conversions as applicable.

  • Test and troubleshoot system configuration and functionality.
  • Communicate project scope, status, and risks to all stakeholders.
  • Record accurate and timely accounting of time spent on project-related activities.
  • Follow established project, departmental, and company procedures and quality standards.
  • Follow established project management standards. Provide activities related to the management of assigned implementation projects to bring the project to a timely close and transition the client appropriately.
  • Complete post-implementation tasks promptly.
  • Update internal documentation as applicable.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal staff, including sales, development, support, training, and professional services as needed.
  • Participate in the development of implementation or training content. Conduct software training and reinforce prior training to both external clients and internal staff.
  • Maintain, enhance, and broaden knowledge and skills of software applications and industry practices.
  • Participate in internal project implementation and provide technical support to his teammates.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in relevant expertise, ideally in financial institutions or industry software.
  • 5+ years in modern software technologies:
  • Java (senior level).
  • JavaScript ecosystem: JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, Sencha ExtJS, Node.js.
  • Oracle SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c).

Preferred

  • Spring Framework (Spring Boot 1.x & 2.x).
  • OpenAPI, Swagger, HATEOAS.
  • Microservices architecture.
  • Oracle DBA, architecture, tuning.

Additional

  • Client-facing experience.
  • Software implementation, support, or training.
  • Project management (Scrum/Agile a plus).
  • Corporate Treasury domain & Finastra products a plus.
