Job Description

As a Senior Team Lead, you are a leader of leaders and a critical driver of operational excellence. While a Team Lead focuses on daily tasks, you focus on the bigger picture—improving overall department performance, mentoring junior leads, and ensuring that multiple teams are aligned with the company's strategic goals. You bridge the gap between high-level management and front-line execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and coach a group of Team Leads. You are responsible for their professional growth, ensuring they have the tools and skills to manage their own direct reports effectively.
  • Strategic Execution: Take high-level goals from Directors and turn them into actionable plans for the teams. You ensure that everyone understands the why behind their daily targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee cross-team workflows to identify bottlenecks. You'll design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency across the entire department.
  • Performance Analytics: Deep-dive into department data (KPIs, SLAs, and Quality scores). You'll identify long-term trends and proactively suggest shifts in strategy to keep performance high.
  • High-Level Escalation: Act as the final point of contact for the most complex customer or internal issues that junior leads cannot resolve.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with other departments (IT, HR, Sales, etc.) to ensure your teams have the resources they need and that inter-departmental projects stay on track.
  • Budget & Resource Planning: Assist management in forecasting headcount needs, managing shift schedules, and tracking departmental expenses.
