Role: Senior Tax Analyst
Work Arrangement: Work from Office
Location: Philippines - Makati / Angeles (Pampanga)
Schedule: Morning shift
Job Description:
What you'll do
- Prepare US Tax Provision under ASC740 for each affiliate
- Compute and prepare quarterly estimated tax payments for each affiliate
- Prepare and file various miscellaneous tax filings, including but not limited to Federal Excise Tax, Foreign Bank Account Reporting, 1120-POL
- Prepare any necessary book to tax supporting workpapers
- Analyze and reconcile tax accounts and perform flux analyses
- Support the tax department in managing tax documentation, notices, payments and any ad hoc projects
Qualification and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or C.P.A. preferred (Financial and/or Tech Sector experience is a plus!)
- 4+ years of corporate tax experience with public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department
- Possess an understanding of ASC740 principles, as well as federal and state tax concepts
- Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (Oracle Cloud is a plus!)
- Eagerness to learn, and strong analytical and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and can drive projects to completion in a deadline driven environment
- Inventive, resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem solving abilities
- Can communicate sophisticated tax concepts in ways that are meaningful to non-tax professionals
- Experience with process improvement and proficiency with spreadsheets
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MS in Tax
- Possess an understanding of ASC740 principles, as well as federal and state tax concepts
- Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
