Job description:
The Remote Accountant (TRA) is an innovative BPO in the Philippines that specialises in connecting great people with great Australian Businesses.
We have Australian-based clients who are looking to grow an offshore team. They provide great career development and training opportunities to their team members.
They are looking for 5 highly skilled senior accountants with excellent communication skills and is looking for a long-term career in accounting.
This role is 100% remote (work-from-home).
P20,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES.
Minimum Experience:
- You must have 4+ years of proven work experience as a tax accountant with an Australian accounting firm.
The role includes:
- Preparation of BAS / IAS returns
- Preparation of Profit and loss statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients
- Preparation and lodgment of Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships
- Reviewing client accounting records in MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, etc. to provide accurate and timely management reports
- Assisting in a range of taxation matters including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST
Other Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline
- CPA Certification is a plus
- Proficiency in XERO and FYI Docs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) is a must
- The ability to review jobs is preferred
- Experience managing multiple clients
- Must be highly organised and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be a team player
System Requirements:
- Stable internet connection (at least 80 MBPS)
Work Setup and Schedule:
- Full-time
- Day Shift (8 Hours)
- Fixed Saturday and Sunday off
- Remote/Work-from-home
- A separate room to undertake work is required
- Must not be disturbed by electronic devices during work hours
