Ikigai Cases is hiring for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Remote

Compensation: $1800 per month + performance-based bonuses

About the Company

Ikigai Cases is a family-owned e-commerce business selling premium metal pill cases. The business was founded in 2021 in Washington DC by two brothers. After four years, the company has grown to selling thousands of pill cases every month and double-digit team members, including a thriving remote team.

Our mission is simple: to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We uphold this commitment by managing our fulfillment operations in-house and offering white-glove service to our customers.

What We're Looking For

We're hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who is a true huntersomeone exceptional at cold sourcing senior talent and uncovering high-caliber Manager, Director, and Executive candidates from the market. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Recruiting Manager and the CEO, executing tightly defined searches based on clear job descriptions and ICPs, then independently sourcing, qualifying, and delivering top-tier candidates. This is not a generalist recruiting or HR role. We're looking for a self-sufficient candidate sourcing professional who can design search strategies, find talent others miss, and consistently surface candidates worth executive time with minimal direction.

About You

  • You should be self-motivated and looking to work hard - as you will be expected to work hard, contribute and execute without supervision to help the whole team.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • You take pride in your work and are proactive, anticipating the needs of the company and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

5 Core Responsibilities

  1. EXECUTIVE-LEVEL COLD SOURCING: Independently identify and source high-caliber Manager, Director, and Executive candidates using LinkedIn, networks, and non-obvious channelsbased on a clearly defined job description and ideal candidate profile.
  2. SEARCH STRATEGY & MARKET INTELLIGENCE: Design and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies per role, including identifying where top candidates actually work, how they move roles, and which backgrounds consistently produce A-players.
  3. OUTREACH & FIRST-CONTACT QUALIFICATION: Write high-signal cold outreach that converts strong candidates into conversations, then conduct initial screens to validate role fit, caliber, and motivation before handing off to the lead interviewer.
  4. PIPELINE OWNERSHIP (SOURCING STAGE): Build and maintain a clean, organized top-of-funnel pipeline of sourced candidatestracking outreach, responses, and qualified handoffs with speed and precision.
  5. SCREENING INTERVIEWS: Run short, high-signal screening interviews for select Manager, Director, or Executive candidates when additional clarity is requiredconfirming scope, decision-making level, and trajectory before handing off candidates to leadership.

Required Experience & Skills Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years in talent acquisition, recruiting & headhunting roles, including experience searching for e-commerce talent specifically
  • Proven ability to source great candidates, evaluate them, coordinate the interview process with the client, and close searches effectively and independently.
  • Excellent English skills & an outgoing personality as you will be required to represent the brand to prospective candidates during screening interviews and in written messages to candidates

Communication & English Proficiency

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Excellent energy & interview presence to engage candidates with the company.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and candidates over email

Compensation Details

  • Compensation: $1,800 per month + performance-based bonuses
  • Work Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The hours are 8AM to 6PM EST.
  • Paid Holidays: 10 paid holidays per year
  • PTO: 1 week earned for every 6 months worked at the company
