Bird is looking for a Mandarin-speaking Operations Specialist to serve as the go-to expert for our global customers with a strong focus on APAC markets. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, technical operations, and carrier management, reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Accounts.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the trusted A2P messaging expert for Bird's global customer base, with deep focus on APAC markets
- Troubleshoot SMS/MMS delivery issues and drive fast, effective resolutions
- Manage carrier escalations across global and APAC-region networks
- Communicate directly with Mandarin-speaking customers, carrier representatives, and partners
- Ensure world-class messaging performance and seamless service delivery worldwide
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Bird's Connectivity, Routing, Compliance, and Engineering teams
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in customer success, technical operations, or carrier management
- Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written) essential for this role
- Deep expertise in A2P messaging, particularly across APAC markets
- Strong understanding of global carrier ecosystems and messaging delivery operations
- Experience in customer success, technical operations, or carrier management
