Role Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for optimizing the end-to-end flow of goods, from raw material procurement to final delivery. This role balances cost reduction with service reliability, using advanced analytics to manage inventory levels, mitigate risks, and lead high-level vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Lead negotiations with global suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and lead times.
Inventory Optimization: Utilize forecasting models to maintain lean inventory levels while ensuring 99%+ product availability.
Logistics & Distribution: Oversee freight forwarders and 3PL providers to streamline international and domestic shipping routes.
Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks (geopolitical, environmental, or economic) and develop robust contingency plans.
Data Analytics: Leverage ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI tools to track KPIs such as Total Landed Cost, Order Cycle Time, and Supplier Performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Production teams to align supply chain capacity with market demand (S&OP process).
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-8+ years in supply chain, logistics, or procurement.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering (CSCP or CPIM certification preferred).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP software, advanced Excel (Pivot Tables/Macros), and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI).

Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, complex problem-solving, and the ability to lead under pressure.
