Job description:
- Holds overall governance and ownership of the QMS framework overarching for Business Unit on sites and remote site locations
- Defines QMS policies, certification scope, and alignment according to ISO/IATF interpretations, customer specific and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures consistent application and compliance of QMS processes across all sites, BUs, and functions through periodic audits on sites.
- Maintains the Quality Manual, process architecture, and integrated management system structure. Also, analyze and introduce new standards if applicable
- Leads Management Reviews and QMS related CIP's with relevant stakeholders
- Coordinates internal QMS related risk management across enterprise, project, and product layers including Enterprise Risk Management Coordinator for Business Unit
- Ensures Quality alignment with Operations, R&D, SCM, Compliance, and Business Segments.
- Drives the internal /external audit program, preparation and execution and auditor qualification
- Defines audit cycles, escalation, and closure verification.
- Product Safety and Conformity Representative (PCSR) and Process ownership for Functional Safety ISO26262 in the Business Unit
- Knowledgeable in FMEA & Problem Solving, Read Across Management & Lessons Learned including Automotive core tools requirement
Profile description:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical/Electronics, Semiconductor/Materials, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
- Semiconductor or Electronics Manufacturing experiences
- A solid understanding and practical experience in Automotive Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, is required
- Hands-on experience in performing or supporting process audits based on VDA 6.3 methodology.
- Knowledge or training in Functional Safety aligned with ISO 26262 and/or exposure to Product Safety & Conformity Representative (PSCR) responsibilities will be an added advantage.
