Role Overview:
Fyscal Technologies is seeking an accomplished Senior Solutions Architect to join our global Solutions Engineering team. This role is central to shaping the end-state digital architecture for our prospects and clients, covering core banking modernisation, digital onboarding, payments orchestration, wallets, lending, compliance services, and cloud-native transformations.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will bridge business objectives and technology execution. You will engage with C-level executives, department heads, product owners, and engineering teams to design solutions that deliver measurable value. You'll lead technical deep dives, run proof-of-concepts, develop architecture blueprints, guide product fitment, and drive solution excellence throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of scalable, secure, and modular digital banking solutions aligned with client needs and FT's product capabilities.
- Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable architecture frameworks, integration patterns, and product configurations.
- Develop end-state solution blueprints, high-level architecture diagrams, technical roadmaps, and migration strategies.
- Support the full sales cycle by delivering product walkthroughs, conducting technical workshops, and articulating solution value.
- Lead proof-of-concepts, technical validations, and API-level assessments to demonstrate feasibility and performance.
- Partner with account teams to position FT as a strategic technology advisor to banks and fintechs.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure solution alignment and readiness.
- Provide technical guidance on product fit, customisations, and integration approaches using FT's digital banking stack.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in digital banking, fintech, enterprise architecture, or solution consulting.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and API-first design (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Hands-on experience with modern integration patterns: API gateways, messaging queues, service orchestration, and cloud-native deployments.
- Familiarity with banking domains such as payments, onboarding & KYC, lending, core banking, AML/Compliance, and digital channels.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly valued.
- Ability to translate business requirements into structured technical recommendations with clear value propositions.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical leaders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
