Your Role: As a Senior Software Tester, you will:
- Lead design and architecture
- Own technical quality of applications and integrations
- Mentor and coach junior/mid developers
- Partner with architects, product owners, and stakeholders
- Contribute to agile ceremonies & continuous improvement
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance
- Conduct code reviews and enforce standards
- Support production and incident response
- Report directly to the Tech Lead, collaborating daily with other developers, testers, and analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
What You Need: Non-negotiables
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, including leadership or senior QA roles
- Proven experience in both manual and automated testing across complex applications.
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification or equivalent desirable.
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Proficiency in API automation using Supertest, REST Assured, or Postman.
- Advanced SQL and database validation skills.
- Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Performance and load testing experience (JMeter, k6).
- Cloud testing knowledge across Azure and AWS environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps QA practices.
- Mobile and cross-browser automation testing experience
- Security testing basics, Infrastructure-as-Code validation, and AI/ML-based testing exposure.
