Senior Software, Platform, or Product Engineer (Technical Lead)

Role Description

The Senior Technical Lead is a hands-on technical role responsible for leading the design, development, release, and maintenance of software development projects, with a focus on web-based and SaaS products. This position focuses primarily on technical execution and product delivery, with secondary responsibilities in project coordination and process support.The role is ideal for a buildersomeone who has personally shipped SaaS or web products and understands the full product lifecycle: ideation development deployment iteration maintenance. Experience with AI-assisted or agentic coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

• At least 3-5 years of proven experience in the delivery of software products, particularly, web or SaaS products
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. (Equivalent practical experience is acceptable)
• Exposure to startup, EdTech, or fast-iteration environments is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of software architecture, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud infrastructure and deployments, version control, CI/CD practices, and development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), with experience across multiple phases of the product lifecyclenot limited to maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., PHP/Laravel, JavaScript frameworks, APIs).
• Proven experience in designing, delivering, and maintaining software products using AI-assisted or agentic coding workflows using Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies quickly.
