We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FullStack Engineer with handson development experience who can quickly hit the ground running and contribute immediately. One of the two hires will step into a lead roleprior leadership experience is not required, but the ideal candidate is a strong senior engineer ready to grow into that responsibility. This is a fully handson position; engineers must be comfortable coding daily and collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop highquality backend and frontend solutions as part of a fullstack engineering team
- Take ownership of assigned projects and work independently with minimal oversight
- Collaborate closely with team members, stakeholders, and customers
- For the lead role: provide technical guidance, help drive engineering best practices, and support team execution (while still remaining handson)
Required Experience
- 5-8 years of professional engineering experience
- Fullstack development experience with both backend and frontend technologies
- Must meet at least 50% of the required technologies listed below
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to engage professionally with customers
- High energy, positive attitude, and easy to work with
Required Technologies
Backend
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Django, Python, Node.js, or Go
- Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
Frontend
- Expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services
- Familiarity with UI component libraries and state management tools (e.g., Redux, NgRx, Vuex)
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, mortgages, or insurance
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies or AI integrations (not required but a plus)
