Senior Software Development Engineer in Test – Java

Join our Cash Equities team and deliver a high quality service in relation to functional and automation software testing. You will be working closely with different teams across different regions.

What role will you play

You will design, maintain and enhance automated test scripts using AIdriven tools and established frameworks, as well as own the automation tool and manage the UAT environment, ensuring reliability, smooth system usage and effective support. You'll develop automation scripts in Java (JUnit) or similar languages, validate system integrations (including failure scenarios) and embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for early and continuous quality checks. In addition, you will drive continuous improvement of automation processes and track key metrics such as automation coverage and script effectiveness.

What you offer

• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Unix scripting
• Extensive handson experience with test automation tools and frameworks
• Strong understanding of system architecture and system integration testing
• Ability to manage nonproduction environments and facilitate/support UAT activities
• Continuous learning mindset with commitment to staying current with industry best practices
• Experience with FIX Protocol and knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading or Execution environments will be an advantage.
