Armada Brands is a venture-backed consumer startup building high-growth direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands for the Philippine market. We create and scale consumer-loved products across nutrition and food and beverage, focused on underserved needs and high-demand categories.
We develop proprietary brands end to end, from product formulation to brand, channel, and growth strategy, combining strong product science with data-driven digital marketing and ecommerce execution.
Our model is digital first and DTC led, with a clear omni-channel path to scale. The team brings deep experience in ecommerce, performance marketing, and brand building across Southeast Asia.
Backed by leading venture capital firms and experienced business angels in the region, we operate a growing portfolio of brands and are preparing multiple new launches in the coming months.

This Role
We're looking for someone who can combine creative vision, commercial instinct, and execution skills to own the end-to-end storefront experience for our DTC brands not just how it looks, but how it performs and drives revenue.
This isn't a maintenance role. You'll build from scratch, optimize aggressively, test constantly, and push standards higher. Think beyond templates, challenge conventions, and design storefront journeys that maximize conversion and customer lifetime value.
You'll be equally comfortable:
Coding is not required you can work with Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, or other site builders and pre-made themes. Custom coding only comes in if you need special functionality.
What You'll Do
Lead full Shopify website builds for new DTC brand launches from wireframe to live store
Design bold, conversion-driven direct-to-consumer storefront concepts not template-based layouts
Architect complete DTC customer journeys (Landing Page Homepage PDP Cart Checkout Upsell Post-purchase)
Build persuasive, high-converting PDPs that clearly communicate benefits, proof, pricing logic, bundles, and urgency
Customize Shopify themes and sections using Liquid modify, extend, and optimize beyond default capabilities
Optimize DTC buying experience across mobile, speed, UX, and checkout flow
Run CRO experiments (A/B tests, layout tests, offer tests) based on real funnel and performance data
Translate brand positioning into immersive, high-impact DTC visual storytelling
Partner closely with growth and brand teams to launch campaigns, drops, and promotions quickly
Elevate performance standards across Shopify and DTC marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop)
This role owns DTC storefront revenue and performance, not just website design.
Your Skills
At least 3+ years hands-on Shopify experience with proven live store results
Preferably with D2C background
Strong design eye understands hierarchy, typography, product storytelling, and high-converting layouts
Creative thinker who can conceptualize unique storefront experiences from scratch
Strong commercial mindset understands GMV, CVR, AOV, ROAS, and profitability levers
Technical depth in Shopify, Liquid, theme customization, and performance optimization
Ecommerce brand thinker understands how positioning, offer, and UX connect
Experience running and interpreting CRO tests
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-accountability startup environment
Independent operator with high standards and strong execution discipline

Technical SEO and site speed optimization expertise
Experience launching international storefronts
Performance marketing exposure (Meta, Google) and understanding how traffic converts on-site
Multimedia production skills (video, motion, high-converting ad creatives)
Experience working in a multi-brand or high-growth startup environment
