Job Description

Qualifications

5 yearsof total IT experience with3 yearsof hands on experience in secure software environments or DevOps role
Proficiency in writingPython and PowerShell scripts, integrating data through REST and APIs, and implementing parsing (Logstash, Grok, RegExp)
Understanding of Microsoft Sentinel administration and operations
Capability of integrating software and data utilizing secure deployment methods.
Strong networking fundamentals and familiarity withSIEM(Sentinel, ELK, or equivalent)
Knowledge of application and system security threats and vulnerabilities
Outstanding written and spoken English skills
Relevant certifications (GCIH, GCED, GSEC, GNFA, GCFA, SSCP, OSCP, Security+, etc.) or proven security training track record is huge plus

Responsibilities

Configure workspaces, oversee data interfaces, create log ingestion pipelines, establish analytics rules, and create KQL queries and logic applications to administer Microsoft Sentinel.
Create, incorporate, uphold, and support a set of tools for internal security operations.
Evaluate and address complicated security problems; use security concepts in control design, implementation, and planning.
Support the fundamental security services and IR procedures of QSIRT.
