About the Role

As a Senior SAP/WebI Developer, you will own the integrity, performance, and scalability of enterprise reporting environments supporting mission-critical operations across global industries.

You will architect and optimize SAP BusinessObjects Universes and Web Intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decisions at scale. This role goes beyond report building - it demands strong data modeling discipline, SQL performance optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and technical leadership within Agile delivery environments.

Your work directly impacts operational visibility, compliance, and executive-level reporting across complex enterprise ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Developer or BI Developer
• Deep hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects
• Strong experience with Universe Design Tool (UDT) and Information Design Tool (IDT)
• Advanced Web Intelligence (WebI) report development capability
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI architecture
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects Universes (UNX/UNV) aligned to enterprise reporting standards
• Build, enhance, and optimize WebI reports, dashboards, and analytical tools
• Gather and translate business requirements into robust BI technical specifications
• Optimize Universe structures, SQL queries, and reporting performance
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security across BI layers
• Support SAP BO migrations, upgrades, and system integrations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with architects, SAP functional teams, and analysts to deliver scalable BI solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
