Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP IS Utilities, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP Industry Solutions for the utilities industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design, implement, and deliver SAP IS solutions that meet their needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design SAP IS Solutions: Analyze business requirements and design SAP IS solutions for utilities clients, ensuring that solutions meet their specific needs and optimize their utilities operations.
- Implement SAP IS Modules: Configure and implement SAP IS modules specifically on Billing module, including industry-specific functionality for utilities, such as SAP Utilities and SAP CRM for Utilities.
- Develop Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions that improve customer experience and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide training and support to clients on SAP IS solutions.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Strong SAP IS‑U Billing and Invoicing Expertise: deep understanding of SAP IS‑U Billing processes including billing master data configuration such as billing class, rate type, operands, rates, schema, rate category, rate determination., and integration with Meter Reading and Device Management.
- Business Process Analysis and Billing Solution Design: ability to analyze utility billing requirements such as tariff structures, complex rates, seasonal pricing, and regulatory billing rules, and translate them into accurate SAP IS‑U Billing solution designs.
- SAP Billing Configuration and Implementation: hands-on experience configuring billing master data, schema steps, operand creation, rate determination, invoicing rules, and integration with FI‑CA (Contract Accounting) for billing and payment processes.
- Client Relationship Management and Communication: skilled at working with business users to understand their billing challenges, explain technical billing concepts, and recommend improvements that enhance billing accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration and User Training: ability to collaborate with Metering, Device Management, Finance, CRM, and Technical teams to ensure end‑to‑end billing process alignment, while providing training, documentation, and go‑live support.

- Industry Trend Awareness: Experience with staying current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.
- SAP Product Knowledge: Experience with SAP IS solutions, including SAP Utilities and SAP CRM for Utilities, to design and implement solutions that meet client needs.
- Cross-Industry Understanding: Experience working with various industries, with a focus on utilities, to analyze business requirements and design SAP IS solutions.
