Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP IS Utilities, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP Industry Solutions for the utilities industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design, implement, and deliver SAP IS solutions that meet their needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Design SAP IS Solutions: Analyze business requirements and design SAP IS solutions for utilities clients, ensuring that solutions meet their specific needs and optimize their utilities operations.
- Implement SAP IS Modules: Configure and implement SAP IS modules specifically Device Management module, including industry-specific functionality for utilities, such as SAP Utilities and SAP CRM for Utilities.
- Develop Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business needs and provide solutions that improve customer experience and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and provide training and support to clients on SAP IS solutions.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Strong SAP IS-U and Device Management Expertise: ability to configure and implement SAP Industry-Specific Utilities (IS‑U) modules, with deep knowledge of Device Management processes such as device lifecycle configuration, meter installation, removal, device location, register & logical register configuration, device categories & profiles and lifecycle management.
- Business Requirements Analysis and Solution Design: skilled in analyzing complex utility business processes and translating them into effective SAP solution designs that optimize operations, improve efficiency, and meet regulatory needs.
- SAP Module Configuration and Implementation: hands-on experience configuring and deploying SAP IS‑U components and related modules such as SAP CRM for Utilities, ensuring seamless integration and industry-specific functionality.
- Client Relationship Management and Communication: capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding their needs, providing guidance, and communicating technical concepts in a clear and business‑focused manner.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration and User Training: ability to work closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders while also providing training, support, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful project adoption.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Industry Trend Awareness: Experience with staying current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and SAP product developments to ensure solution relevance and competitiveness.
- SAP Product Knowledge: Experience with SAP IS solutions, including SAP Utilities and SAP CRM for Utilities, to design and implement solutions that meet client needs.
- Cross-Industry Understanding: Experience working with various industries, with a focus on utilities, to analyze business requirements and design SAP IS solutions.
