As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will design, enhance, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical business platforms. This role focuses on hands-on Salesforce development, platform optimization, and enterprise integrations across Sales and Service Cloud environments. Candidates should have at least 4 years of Salesforce development experience and hold a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, ensuring the technical depth required for enterprise-grade platform engineering. The Qualifications We Seek
To align with the senior scope of this role, candidates must meet the following core requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Proven experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations
- Experience working with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments
Certifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Required)
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using APIs
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security models, including roles, OWD, sharing rules, and permission sets
- Experience working with Platform Events, Change Data Capture (CDC), and integration error handling
Development Practices
- Experience with enterprise Salesforce development standards and code governance
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization capabilities
Professional Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple development initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification
- Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator Certification
- Experience supporting complex enterprise Salesforce environments
- Experience mentoring developers or supporting engineering standards within a team
Your Daily Tasks
Salesforce Platform Development
- Develop and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flows
- Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Platform Architecture & Governance
- Maintain platform scalability and reliability through development standards, code reviews, and governance practices
- Ensure solutions align with Salesforce platform best practices and system architecture standards
Integration & System Connectivity
- Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, and Change Data Capture (CDC)
- Manage error handling and monitoring across integrated enterprise systems
Platform Performance & Reliability
- Monitor platform health and optimize transactions to maintain performance and governor-limit compliance
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Salesforce Leads, Business Analysts, Product teams, and Architecture stakeholders
- Support delivery planning, estimation, and release management activities
Technical Leadership
- Conduct code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the development team
- Promote reusable development patterns and engineering best practices
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure-by-design Salesforce solutions aligned with ISO27001 and privacy standards
- Manage security models including roles, permissions, and secure integrations
