Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Lightning-ready solutions from high-level solution design to system unit testing
- Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customizations and integration
- Develop clean, maintainable, readable code that is scalable and secure. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure the same quality
- Integrate with Force.com Web services including SOAP, WSDL, REST, SSL standards, security models and typical API client architecture
- Provides technical support to production systems/applications and ensures that problems are resolved with minimal disruption to the company's operations
- Work on complex user stories or change requests in an Agile Sprint Release
- Work with product owners, process owners and experts to identify solutions and process improvements that will be translated into user stories
- Work on test classes with a minimum of 85-90% of test coverage
- Build custom Web services
- Troubleshoot and investigate bug fixes
- Ensure documentation according to QIAGEN and external standards
- Participate in continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management and support the end-to-end release process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent- Engineering, Computer Science
- 5 or more years of working experience as Salesforce Developer and System Administrator with a solid understanding of platform-specific design patterns and large data volume strategies.
- Able to customize Apex Classes, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Aura Component & Lightning Web Components
- 5 or more years of Information Technology experience in a customer facing organization
- Working experience in Global Service Management (ITIL certification is a plus)
- Certified Salesforce Platform & Certified Advanced Salesforce System Administrator & Certified Platform Developer 1 & 2
- Has mid-level to expert experience in using Flows
- Good communication skills - both oral and written
- Have been working in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Proven knowledge of Salesforce Development & Administration
- Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues
Must be amenable to work:
- Amenable to work on a Hybrid set-up (onsite for the first 6 months)
- Amenable to work on either mid-shift or night shift schedule
