Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Officer Urban Markets is responsible for leading sales and marketing initiatives for Harbest in the City, focusing on Metro Manila. This role serves as the primary representative of Harbest Agribusiness Corporation, engaging with government agencies, private businesses, communities, and key stakeholders to promote agricultural products and services suited for urban retail. The ideal candidate is a confident, knowledgeable, and experienced agricultural professional capable of building relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Harbest's presence in Metro Manila's urban markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government offices, private companies, LGUs, real estate developers, and community organizations.
  • Present and promote Harbest's urban farming solutions, agricultural products, and services to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, close deals, and maintain strong client relationships for long-term growth.

Marketing & Public Engagement

  • Represent Harbest at industry events, government meetings, trade fairs, and community engagements.
  • Conduct presentations, seminars, and training sessions on urban agriculture and sustainable farming practices.
  • Collaborate with the media and marketing team to develop promotional campaigns for urban retail products.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to refine Harbest's product offerings and sales approach.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the urban agriculture ecosystem.
  • Work closely with LGUs, cooperatives, and corporate sustainability teams to develop partnerships.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and assisting clients post-sale.

Reporting & Strategy Development

  • Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for management.
  • Work closely with internal teams (product development, logistics, and finance) to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in agriculture, agribusiness, urban farming, or sustainability sectors.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to engage with government agencies, businesses, and communities.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Deep understanding of agricultural products, urban farming solutions, and retail market dynamics.
  • Willing to travel within Metro Manila and attend field engagements as needed.
