Summary of the Position:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales operations, manage the full sales order cycle, and drive strategic revenue growth. This role requires strong expertise in sales order management, pre-selling activities, account management, and market expansion within the automotive sector.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in automotive sales, dealership or distributor management, and leading high-performing sales teams. A strong background in client relationship development, sales operations, and data-driven decision-making is essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and market share targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities through pre-selling, prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Manage the complete sales cycleincluding lead generation, product presentations, negotiations, and deal closing.

Sales Order & Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end sales order processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Partner closely with logistics, inventory, and operations teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and product delivery.
  • Track order status, delivery timelines, and customer updates to ensure seamless operational flow.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, dealerships, distributors, and key accounts.
  • Address client concerns, escalations, and inquiries, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct business reviews and propose customized solutions aligned with client needs and market conditions.

Team Management & Performance Excellence

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to ensure strong performance, professional development, and target achievement.
  • Set clear KPIs and performance metrics, track daily/weekly sales performance, and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Support the team on complex transactions, escalations, or major account negotiations.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Stay updated on automotive trends, competitor strategies, pricing movements, and consumer demand.
  • Recommend enhancements to product positioning, sales campaigns, and promotional programs based on market insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking engagements.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare sales performance reports, forecasts, and pipeline health updates for senior leadership.
  • Analyze data to identify growth opportunities, process gaps, and strategic improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Technology, or related field.
  • 57 years of experience in automotive sales, with strong background in pre-selling and sales order management.
  • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the automotive industry.
  • Strong experience managing sales teams or handling major dealership/distributor accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort in using sales reports, CRM tools, and forecasting dashboards.
  • Knowledge of automotive products, dealership workflows, aftermarket parts, or fleet management is an advantage.
