ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Senior Researcher will manage designing, scoping and analysis of primary research projects across both Quantitative and Qualitative methodologies (with a heavy emphasis towards Quantitative work). Collaborating closely with the Client Solutions/Sales team, the role of senior researcher includes sharing their expertise in the diverse types of research studies (PR, advertising, new product development, brand health, advertising testing, and so on), to provide value-added services to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Insights delivery:
- Management of all research related tasks from end to end objectives and research needs exploration, questionnaire design, survey testing, fieldwork coordination, data processing guidance, analysis plan, interpretation of data, and presentation to clients
- Assist Client Solutions team in research design and proposal process
- Analyse research data to draw actionable insights and recommendations
- Run mini polls where needed to substantiate proposals, or for content creation
- Secondary data research where applicable
- Brainstorming of ideas to improve insights delivery to clients
- Creation of case studies, by combining learnings and best practices from completed studies
- Remain informed on market trends and research methodologies to apply in day-to-day work
Client management:
- Drive actionable results and insights from data collected and consult clients on key takeaways to address their business needs and wants
- Foster strategic client relationship by executing external workshops with clients for topics such as How to do Pricing Research
- Advise clients on types of research/methodologies to consider
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences or related fields
- 3-5 years of market experience in an agency setting (in particular, customized research)
- Strong understanding of research design, research methodologies, sampling, questionnaire design, quota setting, data weighing and significance testing
- Excellent client management and project management skills
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for creating compelling stories and synthesizing findings instead of regurgitating data
- Excellent attention to detail; high level of accuracy in handling data
- Experience in managing high volume of complex Quantitative research studies under tight budgets and schedules
- Experience with multi-market projects is highly preferred
- Experience with managing online and offline research is highly preferred
- Experience with mixed research methodologies (Quantitative and Qualitative) is highly preferred
