Senior Research Manager

Location: BGC, Taguig City

Work Setup: Full-time, fully onsite

About the role

The Senior Research Manager will lead market and consumer insights for a fast-growing creative and brand solutions group with businesses spanning wellness and essentials, nutritional products, and a creative production house. This role is central to identifying new category opportunities, informing brand strategy, and building a long-term market intelligence capability across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead brand and new category market research initiatives across wellness, nutrition, and creative/content-driven brands.
  • Conduct industry sizing and market scale analysis, including TAM / SAM / SOM estimations for current and potential categories.
  • Analyze growth trends and develop forward-looking market forecasts to inform brand and portfolio strategy.
  • Build consumer insights through qualitative and quantitative research, turning findings into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Drive competitive landscape analysis, including positioning, pricing, channels, and innovation tracking.
  • Deliver quarterly market opportunity and landscape reports for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Participate in pre-incubation validation for new brands, assessing market attractiveness, feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Develop and continuously refine the company's long-term Market Intelligence framework, processes, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, e-commerce, and creative teams to translate insights into brand strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Prepare and present investor-grade strategic decks and executive presentations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market research, strategic analysis, or related insights role.
  • Strong background in FMCG, Beauty, Personal Care, or E-commerce is highly preferred.
  • Proven capability in market sizing methodologies, including TAM / SAM / SOM, and category potential evaluation.
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to build and interpret market and competitive models.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills; able to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-ready narratives.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with research platforms and BI/visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working fully onsite in BGC and collaborating closely with cross-functional brand, commercial, and creative teams.
