Job Summary
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring across various functions or departments. This role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing talent pipelines, and partnering closely with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent. The Senior Recruiter also mentors junior recruiters, drives process improvements, and contributes to the organization's overall talent acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Strategy and Execution
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job profiling and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with department heads and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks to evaluate candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality candidate delivery.
Talent Sourcing and Market Insights
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical or recurring roles.
- Use data and market insights to recommend innovative sourcing methods.
- Stay up to date with labor market trends, competitor hiring practices, and salary benchmarks.
Stakeholder Management and Coordination
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights and guidance on hiring best practices.
- Coordinate with HR, onboarding, and operations teams to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates to enhance employer brand and candidate experience.
Team Mentorship and Process Improvement
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior recruiters or sourcing coordinators.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline recruitment workflows.
- Contribute to the development of recruitment metrics, reports, and analytics to measure performance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced or volume hiring environment.
- Proven experience hiring for both technical and non-technical roles.
- Strong interviewing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, JobStreet).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
