Job Description

On behalf of our POEA partner, Global Talent Professionals (GTP) are seeking a dynamic and skilled recruitment all-rounder to join their Team who has experience with Australian manpower requests. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an agency that deals predominantly with Australian clients. The Senior Recruiter will play a pivotal role in the hiring process, from sourcing and identifying potential candidates to conducting interviews and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.

You will be working exclusively as our representative to coordinate our manpower requests.

This role boasts an extremely competitive salary and a substantial sign-on bonus as we continue our growth in partnership. Regular bonuses will also be offered based on team performance.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a solid ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of quality assurance.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the Hiring Team and Stakeholders to understand their job requisitions
  • Create compelling and engaging job advertisements that accurately represent the role and company culture to attract top-tier talent
  • Utilize various platforms, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to actively source and identify potential candidates that align with the job requirements
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to assess the candidate's skills, experience, documentary requirements, and communication skills that fit the job requirements
  • Administer trade tests or assessments to evaluate technical skills and ensure candidates meet the required standards for specific positions
  • Develop and maintain a network of connections within the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Trade Schools, Technical Institutions, and Vocational Training Centers
  • Attends different field recruiting activities such as Job Fairs and Special Recruitment Activity
  • Provide regular updates to the stakeholders on candidate progress, and facilitate effective communication throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure the recruitment process follows best practices and maintain a high standard of quality in candidate assessment, interviews, and overall candidate experience
  • Maintain clear and transparent communication with candidates, providing timely feedback and updates on their application status
  • Liase with a team of Recruitment Associates and Juniors, providing guidance on role requirements.
  • Meet daily with your assigned Australian Foreign Placement Agency to ensure that continuity of service is met and a steady pipeline of candidates are available.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years of experience as an agnecy recruiter or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Must have experience with Australian deployments or worked at a POEA that successfully deploys to Australia.
  • Strong proficiency in using various recruiting platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media networks for candidate sourcing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to assess candidate's qualifications, technical skills, and cultural fit accurately
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously
  • Experience with managing and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Adept at building and maintaining relationships with Hiring Managers, candidates, and other stakeholders
