Job Title: Senior Accountant (US)
Work Schedule:
10PM 7AM | Monday to Friday

HYBRID | One Ayala, Makati City
What You'll be doing:
- Oversee overall financial and accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financing activities for multiple clients.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring compliance with procedures and systems (including Bill.com where applicable).
- Prepare and post journal entries related to accruals and prepayments and maintain supporting workpapers.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and other custom or ad-hoc reports.
- Support budgeting and financial planning by collaborating with partners or the executive team using Excel and other financial tools.
- Perform quality control reviews of staff-prepared financial statements, checklists, and reports before client distribution.
- Develop, document, and monitor accounting policies and procedures, identify improvement opportunities, and support efficient financial reporting processes.

- Hands-on experience in general ledger management, monthly close processes, and preparation of financial statements and analytical reports.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience in improving and standardizing accounting procedures and controls.
- Solid technical accounting knowledge with the ability to independently manage end-to end accounting functions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with experience working with US-based clients, management, and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience; CPA/CMA preferred but not required.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with US accounting tools such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, NetSuite, and Xero.
