Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Senior QA Specialists are mostly catering complex projects with 100+ questions, plus exposure to complicated pickers, maxdiffs, conjoins, as well as mobile testing.
  • In addition to these, they are frequently assisting the Team Lead in managing and/or supervising the team at the same time working hand in hand with Programming Team leads.
  • Moreover, they are constantly training lower level testers
  • They are the Team Leads back-up in assigning projects and for any escalations.
  • Review questionnaire and create scenarios for complex surveys to validate logic indicated, make sure they are free from errors and follows client standard
  • Coordinate and interact with programmers and/or PM for unclear items and areas that needs thorough testing especially when confronted with a tight deadline
  • Formulate recommendations or suggestions on vague logics in the questionnaire
  • Ensure completion of testing in a given deadline and/or update programmers/PM when initial timeline is not met
  • Conduct mobile as requested
  • Conduct successful training to junior-level testers

Experience

  • A Senior QA Specialist has competently performed and fulfilled all of the Advanced QA job requirements satisfactorily.
  • Coaching from team/shift leader or Manager QA on areas of improvement/development
  • Shadowing more experienced Senior QAs on the team to consistently learn from them Participation in trainings to develop new skillsets or enhance current ones

  • Specialized Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills for proper of logging errors and conversing with counterparts in other regions Demonstrates the highest ability to manage time well in prioritizing projects to deliver them in a timely basis
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate the highest ability in written and oral communication skills to express ideas.
  • Analytical: High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Team/Independent Worker: Ability to work effectively and solve issues on his own as well as within the team. - Ability to build relationships with the team and other work mates.
  • Behavioral Traits: Demonstrates patience in testing and maintains focus when under pressure at all times - Hardworking, reliable, organized and punctual.
  • Team & Project Management: Ability to lead, prioritize, participate and manage multiple projects and assignments with strong organizational skills. Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrate constant responsibility on escalations from other teams at the same time persistently maintains focus and composure when faced with a difficult situation
