We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Data) to drive high-quality testing and automation for data-driven systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining automation frameworks, validating data pipelines, and supporting CI/CD-based testing in a regulated, quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain QA automation frameworks for data and backend systems
- Perform data validation across ETL pipelines using SQL and automation scripts
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and improve coverage
- Analyze, document, and report test results; drive continuous improvement in QA processes
- Support QA and UAT environments to ensure stability and reliability
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation and data validation within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Robot Framework preferred)
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and Python for automation scripting
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub, etc.)
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management tools (e.g., JIRA)
Good to Have
- QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB)
- Exposure to Healthcare / Biotech environments
- Experience in performance or load testing for large-scale data systems
