SwissPine Tech is seeking a Senior Python Developer to take technical ownership of complex enterprise integrations for our premier hospitality client. Your primary focus will be architecting, building, and scaling robust APIs and seamless data interfaces. As a senior member of the team, this role is pivotal in ensuring that disparate global platforms communicate flawlessly, delivering a unified, highly available, and high-performance experience for millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- API Architecture & Development: Architect, implement, and govern scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) using modern Python frameworks.
- Complex System Interfaces: Lead the design and optimization of seamless data integrations between massive internal enterprise systems and external third-party platforms.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write exceptionally clean, maintainable Python code, enforce industry best practices, and lead rigorous code reviews to elevate the team's output.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Proactively diagnose and rapidly resolve complex data flow bottlenecks, API latency issues, and integration constraints within high-traffic production environments.
- Technical Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to translate high-level enterprise requirements into robust technical interface architectures, while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.
Technical Requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of strong professional experience in Python development.
- Proven senior-level expertise in designing, building, and securing APIs (REST, JSON) from the ground up.
- Extensive, hands-on experience developing complex system interfaces and integrating third-party enterprise services.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), query optimization, and data modeling.
- High proficiency with version control systems (Git) and writing comprehensive automated tests.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience with popular Python web frameworks (such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments, SaaS, or the global hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker).
