About The Role
As a
Senior Software Developer at inriver, you will be part of the
Product Development team, working on our
Product Information Management (PIM) product and apps. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the product both conceptually and technically, while collaborating closely with a talented, global team.
You will take ownership of assigned tasks, contribute to team success, and see the direct impact of your work in our releases. Beyond coding, you'll mentor others, share knowledge, and help drive innovation across our platform.
Required Qualifications:
C#/ .NET
- Extensive knowledge of C# with .NET MVC, HTML5, Entity Framework, REST Design Patterns, and SQL (minimum 5 years experience).
- Experience with Agile methodology, DevOps/DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in test-driven development, dynamic application development, microservices, DevOps, .NET scaffolding, and web services.
- GitHub achievements (if available).
- Expertise in Vue.js is a plus.
Python
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of data validation, schema mapping, and metadata enrichment.
Responsibilities:
C#/ .NET
- Develop and maintain .NET applications.
- Debug systems, review code, and establish operational procedures.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews).
- Collaborate with Product team to define requirements and estimations.
- Conduct peer reviews and evaluate designs for application development.
- Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
Python
- Design and develop Python-based microservices and APIs for the Smart Onboarding platform.
- Implement data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured product data from external systems.
- Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity with ERP, DAM, and e-commerce platforms.
- Optimize onboarding workflows using asynchronous processing, caching, and efficient data structures.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and define technical standards for the onboarding framework.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
