Senior Project Manager is responsible for creating actionable plans to ensure project completion. They work collaboratively across offices to integrate requirements and preferences while maintaining alignment with the project scope and budget constraints.
- Create written reports or presentations to make recommendations to managers.
- Anticipate and communicate project risks and find solutions for them.
- Act as a client's trusted advisor in an area of expertise.
- Attend periodic department reviews and suggest areas of improvement.
- Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs.
- Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers.
- Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members.
- Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Prince2, or Scrum Master.
- Training or qualifications in risk management and budget control.
Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Proficiency in resource allocation and risk assessment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and practices.
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or other project management software.
