About The Role
A
Senior Profit & Loss Analyst under Deposit and Payroll Division, plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and profitability of the bank's deposit portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing the budgeting, forecasting, and expense management of the deposit business.
How You'll Contribute
- Ensures that the deposit unit operates within its financial targets by monitoring actual performance against budgets, analyzing cost drivers, and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Provides data and reports for decision making such as product features, performance, cost of funds, profitability, and acquisition costs
- Monitor and control operating expenses related to the deposit business, including promotional spending, commissions, channel costs, and product-related costs.
- Analyze assigned campaigns or initiatives and ensure/understand alignment of these initiatives with overall business objectives and strategy.
- Work closely with Finance, Treasury, Marketing, Distribution, and Digital teams to align deposit strategies with broader business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Must have at least 8 to 10 years relevant experience
- With experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Profit and Loss Analysis, Business Planning, and Data Analytics
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, conflict management / problem-solving skills, and project management skills
- Proficient in MS Tools
