Senior Product Designer (Fixed-Term)
About the Role
Sinch is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Product Designer to join us as a fixed-term contractual employee based in the Philippines (remote). This is a crucial role that will directly impact our Engage Growth, Billing, and SimpleTexting product areas. You will be responsible for a dynamic range of design tasks, from refining existing user flows to leading discovery on new features that drive our business forward.
We're looking for a designer with a strong ownership mindset who thrives on collaboration and is passionate about creating simple, robust, and customer-centric experiences.
About the Contract
This is a fixed-term contractual employee position. The initial contract will be for a period of 3 months, with the potential for renewal up to one year. As a contractual employee, you will be fully integrated into our team, with your work, schedule, and daily tasks directed by your manager. Sinch will manage all required government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG). A company-provided laptop will be supplied for this role.
What You'll Do
- Drive UI/UX Refinements: Take the lead on making UI/UX improvements to our existing SimpleTexting flows, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers to deliver incremental enhancements.
- Design for Self-Serve Funnels:
- Design simple and effective UI and user flows for our new self-serve discounts feature, ensuring clear eligibility and application processes.
- Own the end-to-end journey design for self-serve cancellations, balancing business needs with a positive, customer-centric experience.
- Lead Discovery and Research: Conduct light user research and testing to inform the UX for new upsell opportunities, such as user seats and add-ons. You will design modular and scalable patterns that can be extended over time.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work as a key partner with Product, Engineering, Support, Sales, and Marketing teams, translating ideas from wireframes through to final delivery.
- Own the Design Process: Embed yourself in the team's rituals, taking a proactive approach to design rather than waiting for ad-hoc requests.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in both user research and UI execution.
- A track record of designing and shipping successful features for web applications.
- Demonstrated experience in creating end-to-end user journeys, from initial discovery and research to polished visual design.
- Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools, including Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
- An interest in and/or experience with leveraging AI to enhance the design process-from accelerating research synthesis to improving workflow efficiency.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset, with a passion for solving complex problems with simple, elegant solutions.
- Experience working in an agile environment with Product Managers and Engineers.
