Job Description
The Senior PMO Manager is tasked with overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring the successful delivery of
strategic projects aligning with the company's goals. This position operates within the frameworks of established PMO policies and
collaborates with various organizational levels to uphold project management standards and practices.
- Project Management Office Leadership: Develop, implement, and enforce PMO policies and best practices, and strategically oversee the entire project portfolio.
- Consistency of project outcomes with strategic objectives; Adherence to PMO standards
- Project Planning and Execution: Direct the comprehensive planning and execution of all projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and proactively managing potential project risks.
- Project delivery within time, scope, and budget.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Systematically track and analyze project performance against established benchmarks, providing executive-level reports and actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Regular portfolio review reports delivered to executive leadership demonstrating alignment of all active projects with strategic KPIs.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Cultivate robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication and collaboration through facilitated meetings and formal updates.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and project transparency.
- Resource Management: Optimize the efficient allocation of resources across all projects, proactively identifying and resolving resource gaps, and providing dedicated support to project managers.
- Resource utilization and project team performance.
- Process Improvement and Best Practices: Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, driving the adoption of best practices to foster a culture of project excellence and efficiency.
- Improvement in process efficiency and project success rate.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including conducting regular project audits to maintain high quality of delivery.
