We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our growing engineering team. Qualifications:
- Strong background in software development or site reliability engineering.
- Proven experience designing and implementing platform engineering solutions.
- Expert knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, containerd).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with key GCP services: GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, IAM.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices & secrets management.
- Experience in service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) is a strong plus.
- Understanding of GitOps workflows (Flux, ArgoCD).
- Solid grasp of networking concepts in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable and secure Kubernetes-based platforms on GCP.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Enhance observability through tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive platform improvements and ensure reliability, performance, and security.
