Senior PHP Developer

Description:

Collaborates to ensure that developed and developing systems adhere to predetermined scope and design as new features need to be added or old features need to be updated, web developers need to make sure these changes are implemented smoothly and that they do not disrupt the salient features of the program

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Write clean, well-documented and maintainable PHP code

-Develop, test and deploy PHP-based applications and systems

-Collaborate with the team to determine project goals and objectives

-Contribute to the development of project timelines and milestones

-Debug and fix existing code, as needed

-Mentor Junior Developers and help guide their technical development

-Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP and related technologies

Qualifications:

- Graduate of 4-year course related to IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

-With at least 5 years working experience with PHP development

-Strong understanding of PHP, object-oriented programming and MVC architecture

-Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks

-Experience with database design and management, particularly MySQL

-Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Abilities to work independently and in a team environment

-Willing to work onsite
