The Senior Payroll Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction, compliance and operational excellence of the payroll functions across the organization. This role ensures that payroll operations support business objectives while maintaining full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations and corporate governance standards. In addition, the role plays a key function to lead system transformation, process automation through timely and accurate compensation delivery.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and ensure end to end payroll activities are accurate and error free
Define and implement the payroll strategy aligned with the business goals, local regulations and global standards
Lead payroll transformation activities on system upgrades, process automation and efficiency up activities
Serve as the payroll subject matter expert for executive and high level discussions on compensation and benefits
Establish and maintain internal controls and audit mechanisms to ensure payroll accuracy and legal compliance. Ensure data integrity and access controls.
Lead internal and external payroll audits and address findings promptly
Ensure labor compliance and global headquarters alignment with administration of payroll and
benefits.
Keep up to date on compensation market to ensure competitiveness and attractiveness of overall renumeration.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource
Management, or an equivalent field.
Candidate should have more than 10 years experience specializing in Payroll and Compensation
Benefits or equivalent.
Knowledge on HRIS is an advantage
