Senior Manager Payroll

Role Overview
The Senior Manager Payroll is responsible for overseeing accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing for Manila operations. This role ensures strict compliance with statutory requirements, maintains payroll integrity, and drives process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing ensuring 100% accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Manage payroll calendars, cut-offs, and final pay processing.
- Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accurate computation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely remittance of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR contributions.
- Oversee tax filings and year-end reporting (e.g., 2316).
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor and tax regulations.
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Drive payroll system enhancements and automation initiatives.
- Maintain payroll data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and implement payroll SOPs and controls.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor the payroll team.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership for payroll forecasting and reporting.
- Address escalations and resolve payroll-related concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
- 810 years of payroll experience, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, statutory contributions, and labor laws.
- Experience handling large employee populations (preferably BPO/shared services).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
