The Role
Our client is seeking experienced Senior Node.js Developers to build high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems. The ideal candidates will have deep technical expertise in Node.js, modern JavaScript frameworks, and cloud-based architectures with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js and related technologies.
- Create and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for high-performance applications.
- Implement efficient data models and integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate closely with front-end teams, architects, and DevOps to deliver secure, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability through testing and monitoring.
- Participate in architectural discussions, solution design, and technical planning.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 7-10 years of professional software development experience is required, with at least 7 years focused on Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify).
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency in database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with modern development tools (Git, Postman, Swagger, Jest, etc.).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
