Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Node.js Developer with deep, hands-on expertise in backend development using Node.js. The ideal candidate has played a lead role in architecting and delivering high-traffic, high-visibility applications, demonstrating both technical excellence and strong ownership. This role requires someone who has used Node.js extensivelynot just as part of a full-stack toolkit, but as a core platform for building robust, scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of backend services and APIs built with Node.js
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
Own major system components from design to deployment and ongoing support
Ensure code quality through best practices in testing, performance tuning, and maintainability
Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering standards and processes
Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and continuous integration efforts
Troubleshoot production issues and drive resolutions in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Extensive professional experience in backend development with Node.js (3+ years preferred)
Proven track record in lead roles on high-traffic, high-visibility projects
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and asynchronous programming patterns
Hands-on experience with frameworks and libraries such as Express.js, NestJS, or similar
Solid background in designing RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services, and managing microservices architecture
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching strategies, and performance optimization
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and containerization tools like Docker
Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
