Senior Network Security Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based network architecture. The role requires strong expertise in BGP, Azure, and Security to ensure scalability, reliability, and protection of our systems while supporting integration with on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based network architecture.
- Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises systems.
- Apply expertise in BGP routing, Azure cloud networking, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud network issues.
- Drive automation and orchestration using Infrastructure as Code and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Maintain best practices in network security and compliance.
Non-Negotiable Skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced certifications are a plus (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CCNP Cloud, Azure Solutions Architect).
- 6+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud networking and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, load balancers).
- Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with automation tools, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
