Key Responsibilities
We're looking for a seasoned Senior Network Engineer who thrives on building robust, high-performance networks from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you'll architect, deploy, and maintain critical network infrastructure that powers our expanding operationsfrom office buildouts to production environments. What You'll Do:
- Design and implement scalable network solutions for new and existing office locations
- Deploy and configure enterprise-grade routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Lead office expansion projects including ISP coordination, structured cabling, and equipment procurement
- Monitor and optimize network performance across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments
- Troubleshoot complex issues: outages, latency, packet loss, and hardware failures
- Maintain network security posture and ensure 99.9%+ uptime
- Establish network standards, documentation, and best practices
- Perform rack installations, cable management, and infrastructure organization
- Collaborate with vendors, ISPs, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless connectivity
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Experience
- 5+ years in network engineering with proven hands-on expertise
- Deep knowledge of enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, HP/Aruba, or equivalent)
- Strong background in Wi-Fi planning, coverage design, and access point deployment
- Expertise in structured cabling standards (Cat6/Cat6a/Cat7, fiber optics), rack mounting, and physical infrastructure
- Track record of successful office IT rollouts and infrastructure expansion
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong documentation skills: network diagrams, runbooks, SOPs
- Effective communication with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams
- Project management capabilities for infrastructure rollouts
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant partnerships preferably in fintech, banking, or payments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
Certifications (Preferred)
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent Cisco certifications
- MikroTik MTCNA/MTCRE/MTCINE
- CompTIA Network+, Security+
- Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Admin (UEWA)
- Fortinet NSE or equivalent firewall certifications
