Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Meta Media Buyer to execute, analyse, and improve paid social

performance across a portfolio of e-commerce clients. You will operate inside established account structures and budgets, work closely with the lead strategist, and be responsible for turning client-supplied creative into consistent, scalable performance systems through disciplined testing, analysis, and evidence-based recommendations. This role requires strong judgement, deep platform understanding, and high creative literacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage Meta campaigns within defined account structures and budgets.
  • Upload, organise, and optimise ads across funnel-based campaign architectures.
  • Make data-driven decisions on pausing, scaling, iterating, or duplicating ads while respecting budget constraints.
  • Maintain structured creative testing frameworks (formats, hooks, angles, messaging themes).
  • Analyse performance at the ad level using conversion metrics (CPA, ROAS, volume) and engagement diagnostics (CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPM).
  • Provide clear weekly optimisation insights and recommendations to the Lead Strategist.
  • Use Foreplay to analyse competitors, build inspiration boards, and support creative strategy with market examples.
  • Identify winning creative angles and proactively recommend future production priorities.
  • Monitor creative fatigue, CPM fluctuations, and performance volatility.
  • Support promotions with structured pre-launch, scaling, and stabilisation plans.
  • Execute TikTok Ads activity as required and surface cross-channel insights (including Google Ads).
  • Document learnings in Notion, contribute to SOPs/playbooks, and apply critical, evidence-based thinking to performance changes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing Meta ads for e-commerce brands.
  • Strong manual buying experience is essential.
  • Clear understanding of Advantage+ as demand capture, not a substitute for scaled prospecting.
  • Comfortable managing:
  • Accounts with 1,000+ SKUs across multiple verticals (fashion currently represents 50%)
  • Monthly spend in the $10k$20k range
  • Funnel-based structures spanning 5+ campaign objectives
  • High creative judgement and ability to diagnose creative performance.
  • Proven experience working with client-supplied creative and providing performance-led feedback.
  • Strong written English using Australian spelling.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and reliable.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with senior strategists.
