We are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be based in our Makati City office.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and coordinating engineering project work and design activities to ensure that project goals/objectives are accomplished within agreed deadline.
- Assists with mechanical technical design reviews.
- Reviews project proposals or plan to input into time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, resource requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Coach and mentor junior staff to become the next generation of engineers and leaders.
- Perform HVAC calculations but not limited to Cooling and Heating Load and Mechanical Ventilation calculations. But rather step by step and detail approach as per BSRIA design framework.
- Perform Area take-off and space and volume analysis.
- Formulate and production of Room by Room HVAC Performance Criteria with reference to Project Design Brief and Governing Mechanical standard/code.
- Production and analysis of Mechanical services routes and Plant Room sizing with respect to Conceptual design stage.
- Perform duct and pipe sizing calculation, pressure drop calculation, system water content calculation.
- Perform Equipment sizing and selections with respect to production of equipment schedule.
- Monitoring and QA check of 2D and 3D drawings.
- Perform design Review/Validation
- Acts in an Ethical manner and follows the principles of the Ethics Charter and Ethics in Practice Guideline.
